Who we are
Celebrating its 13th anniversary, The Builder & Engineer Awards is one of the largest and most established awards programmes in the sector – providing the ideal platform to recognise the best products, projects, companies and individuals.
The awards are judged by an independent panel of industry leaders and are organised by Builder & Engineer Magazine – the leading national magazine title which circulates to 30,000 construction professionals.

This years guest speaker
Sir Geoff Hurst MBE
Former England international footballer. He remains the only man to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final as England recorded a 4–2 victory over West Germany at the old Wembley in 1966.
and your host
Liverpool born actor, comedian and writer. Best known for his acting role as Mark’s love rival, Jeff, in the Channel 4 sitcom, Peep Show. Who has written for a number of other shows, including Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights (in which he also starred) and Benidorm.
This year’s charity
The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity gives financial help to thousands of families, plunged into financial crisis when they lose their breadwinner’s income through illness, injury or death. Our team works to assess how best we can help the families of these construction workers, providing them with financial assistance until they can get back on their feet.

The Builder & Engineer Awards are some of the most revered and established in UK Construction. Having launched in 2004, the Builder & Engineer Awards is now in its 13th year and will continue to reward the hard work and creativity of those working in the industry. Of course, the industry has changed since those early days and the awards have evolved alongside to reflect those changes with categories like Apprentice/ New Starter, Rising Star and Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
